Many teams of students from Ined and other organizations developed and extended the methods and approaches
suggested by me. I quoted some researchers in the section Explored tracks. To that list I would add the names of Maryse
Marpsat, Olivia Ekert-Jaffé, Philippe Antoine, Philippe Bocquier, etc., and numerous researchers who used these methods
in their Ph. D. theses such as Anka Lisievici-Brezeanu, Isabelle Widmer, Anne Solaz, Valérie Golaz, Rémi Mougins, etc.
Many researchers extended the event history survey method that I initiated. Examples include; Young and careers survey
undertaken by INSEE (1997), which collected a simplified event history of generations born from 1952 to 1978; Event
history and contact circle survey undertaken by Lelièvre which extends the study of individual event histories to social
groups more complex followed through time; Family and employment survey mounted by Meron and carried out by Pailhé
and Solaz, which uses information from individuals and their employers in different family and professional group settings.
Recognition of my work is also apparent in the ‘expert’ reports requested by different organizations such as the Scientific
Committee on the Renewed Population Census directed by Caussinus (1999-2000); the High Council of Population and
Family, working group on Family and unemployment, managed by Comaille, etc.
